For starters, before the HotFix, my taser didn't work to no fault of the LCPDFR staff. I have since did some tweaking and now have the taser in game but the model does not appear in my hand. The player holds up his hands like something is in it and it fires the taser but the weapon is not visible...

 

any suggestions?

Did you install the taser manually? If not, follow this guide to the letter ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).

Can you read this tutorial and do what is says? (>www.lcpdfr.com/topic/25936-how-to-manually-install-the-lcpdfr-taser-in-lcpdfr-10/?p=204104). 

Apparently I missed something then, if those steps add the taser model into the game. I followed them and it added the taser action, but not the weapon model itself

Well, it should add it to the game. Me personally didn't have any issues with the taser, but others who did have that issue used that method and it worked for them. Different for everyone though I guess. 

 

EDIT: Okay that is weird. I'd say you are missing the actual model files then, which really shouldn't happen. Could I bother to ask you to reinstall LCPDFR with the manual installation (again lol). Hotfix isn't needed, it is included in that pack. Hopefully that will work.
